Meet Katrina

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario. I strongly believes that there is no one way towards mental or physical wellness, everyone has a different path they must walk to find what works for them. Sometimes you need someone to walk with you and shine a light to help you find the right path and that is what I am here for. I will be with you to help you explore what brought you to where you are now and help you get where you want to go. I strives to create a warm environment where your goodness, resourcefulness, gifts, perspectives, life experiences, and opportunities are honoured and respected to ensure that clients are supported in their recovery journey. I look forward to meeting with you.

Therapeutic Approach

The theories I use in therapy: In all my work but especially with eating disorders and disordered eating I use polyvagal theory and somatic experiencing. They focus on the nervous system and are body based approaches. I also use Psychodynamic therapy, Attachment based therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy. I also work from a systemic perspective, I recognize that people exist within the systems they live in (family, romantic relationship, friendships, work relationships, city, country etc).
